Price Database

 

How do I Access the Price Database screen?

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Price Database¨

What is the Price Database screen for?

Through the Price Database screen, BrickControl lets you work with many prices databases. This way the user can have as many main databases as needed apart from the specific of each project.

The main databases can be created directly within the system, or imported using FIEBDC (BC3) format.

 

These databases must be constantly updated, keeping it current with all price and quantities deviations that may arise from all the cost analysis carried on, for the different projects.

 

What does each field on the screen mean? 

  • Price Database listing

On the Price database listing screen, we can view a detail of all Price databases added to the system to date.

  • Chapters

Once the database is created, you can import it if it has FIEBDC format, or  generate all the levels by creating them manually within the system.

In BrickControl.com, a database can have as many levels as it is necessary. It is important to define a structure that is comfortable to work with. 

The chapters are identified by the blue color.

  • Work Units

Once the chapters are created within the database, you can create the work units that compose the chapters. To do this, you can double click on the chapter or sub-chapter, to access the the work units screen.

 The work units are identified by the pink color.

BrickControl.com allows infinite nesting level making it possible to create in any line any level of clustering necessary 

The auxiliaries are Identified by the grey color.

  •  Unitaries

  • The unitary, divided by nature into labor, machinery, materials and overhead costs, make up the necessary resources to carry out the execution of the work unit they compose.

  • How do I add a new price database?

1. Click on ¨Projects¨

2. Click on ¨Price database¨
3. Click on ¨+¨
4. Fill in the required data
5. CLick on ¨Save¨  

6. Now you can verify that the data saved is correct, and also edit, modify or delete it.

  •  How do I modifiy a price database?

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Price Database¨

3. Select the line you wish to modify

4. Modify data as needed

5. Click on ¨Save¨  
 
 
  • How do I delete a price database?

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Price Database¨
3. Select the database you wish to delete
4. Hit ¨del¨ on your keyboard
