Companies

Create, edit or view all companies in BrickControl. 

How to Create a New Company

 

1. Click on Entities

2. Click on Companies
3. Click on New


4. Fill in the required information


5. Additionally. you can fill in the following fields:


  5.1 Click on the Sales Invoices tab 

    5.1.1 Fill in the required data on the screen (Example: Series -A, Counter - 0, Type - Revenue) click Enter.

    5.1.2 Now you can continue adding more series numbers by repeating the previous steps.

  5.2 Optionally you can continue adding company data by clicking on the Locations tab


6. Save changes by clicking Save

7. Once all main data has been saved, you can add pictures and documents by using BrickControl´s Document Manager:
     - 
 Images
     - 
 Documents
 

8. Click on Back


9. Now you can verify that the company created is shown on the list. Double clicking on a company entry allows you to add, edit and delete data associated to this company.


How do I search for a company?:

 

1. Click on ¨Entities¨
2. Click on ¨Companies¨

3. Type on the filter field, the parameters you wish to search by

4. Click on ¨Search¨    

5. A list of companies that meet your criteria will appear

6. Use the ¨Pages¨buttons to view all results

7. Double click on the company you wish to see


Estimates

On this page you can create, edit or view all estimates within BrickControl

 

How do I create a new project?:

 

1. Click on ¨Projects¨

2. Click on ¨Estimates¨

3. Click on ¨+¨

4. Fill in ¨Name and ¨Company¨
5. Tab to the last line and click on ¨Save¨  
6. Optionally you can continue adding more data from from the Projects screen

  

 
How to navigate an estimate:
 

  1. Click on ¨Projects¨
  2. Click on ¨Estimates¨
  3. Double click on the column left of the project description to which we want to assign the estimate to.
  4. Double click on the column left of the estimate ¨Project¨
  5. Right click and select ¨New chapter¨, fill in the description and click on ¨Save¨
  6. Double click on the column left of the chapter description.
  7. Right click and select ¨New work unit¨, type in the code, the measurement unit, the number of units, and the description.
  8. Double click on the column left of the work unit description
  9. Right click and select ¨New unitary¨, indicate if it is labor, machinery, materials or general expenses and complete the code, units, description and cost price.
  10 Use the navigation bar  to go back to the chapter level after completing as many chapters, work units and unitaries as needed.
  11. Click on options  > Adjust sales price > Adjust to entire estimate
  12. Indicate the percentage over the sales price and click on accept
  13. Click on final sheet  , Indicate the tax type, click on save  and close the window
  14. Click on print  , Select the template and click on print.


Clients

On this screen you can create, view and edit all clients added to brickcontrol.

 

How to add a new client:

 

1. Click on ¨Entities¨

2. Click on ¨Clients¨

3. Click on ¨New¨   

4. Fill in the required data 

5. Additionally. you can fill in the following fields:  

  5.1 Click on the ´Contacts´ tab 

    5.1.1 Fill in the required data on the screen and hit enter.

    5.1.2 Now you can continue adding clients repeating these steps

  5.2 Optionally you can continue adding company data by going to the ¨Branches¨  tab.   

     -  ¨Branches¨

6. Click on ¨save¨ 

7. Optionally, once all main data has been saved, you can add pictures and documents using Brickcontrol.com´s Document Manager:

8. Now click on ¨back¨  

9. Now you can verify that the company created is shown on the list. Double clicking on the client name takes you back to adding, editing and deleting data associated to this client.

 

How to search for a client:

 

You can search for a client exactly the same way as you would search for a company.


Resource Analysis

Esta pantalla sirve para cálcular las necesidades de compra, según el presupuesto, para llevar a cabo la ejecución del proyecto.

Como realizar el cálculo de recursos:

1. Click en "Proyectos"
2. Click en "Cálculo de Recursos"
3. Click en el botón "Abrir" (Para seleccionar le proyecto)
4. Selecciona el proyecto
5. Ya puedes visualizar, en base a los filtros elegidos el cálculo de recurso

Suppliers

On this screen you can create, edit and view the suppliers you wish to manage with BrickControl

 

How to create a new supplier:

 

1. Click on ¨Entities¨

2. Click on ¨Suppliers¨

3. Click on ¨New¨  

4. Fill in the required information

5.  Additionally. you can fill in the following fields: 

  5.1 Click on the ´Contacts´ tab  

    5.1.1 Fill in the required data on the screen and hit enter.

    5.1.2 Now you can continue adding contacts repeating these steps

  5.2 Optionally you can continue adding supplier data by going to the ¨Branches¨ tab.

6. Click on ¨Save¨

Purchase Invoices

On this screen you can create, edit or view the invoices you wish to manage through BrickControl

How to introduce a new invoice:

1. Click on ¨Expenses/Revenue¨

2. Click on ¨Expenses¨

3. Click on ¨Invoices¨

4. Click on ¨New¨ 

5. Fill in the required data. Click on ¨Back  (This will take you back to the invoice listing)

7. Now you can verify that the invoice introduced has been added and you can view, edit..., 


How to search for an existing invoice:

You can search for an invoice the same way as you would search for a company but filling in the appropriate data.

Employees

On this screen you can create, edit or view the workers you wish to manage through BrickControl

 

How to create a new worker:

 

1. Click on ¨Entities¨

2. Click on ¨Workers¨

3. Click on ¨new¨  to add a new worker

4. Fill in the required information
5. Click on ¨Cost Allocation¨
6. Fill in the required data on the screen and hit enter.

6.1. Optionally, once all main data has been saved, you can continue adding worker data by clicking on:

     -  "Phone numbers"
     - "Observations"
  
 
  - "Medical history
"
     
"Medical examination
" 
 

6. Click on ¨Save¨  

8. Click on ¨Back¨  

9. Now you can verify that the worker created is shown on the list. Double clicking on the worker name takes you back to adding, editing and deleting data associated to this client.

 

How to search for an existing worker:

 

You can search for a worker the same way as you would search for a company


Timesheets 

On this screen you can create, edit or view the time sheets you wish to introduce to BrickControl

 

How to add a new time sheet:

 

1. Click on ¨Expenses/Revenue¨

2. Click on ¨Expenses¨

3. Click on ¨Time sheets¨

4. Click on ¨+¨ to add a new time sheet

5. Fill in the required data

6. Now you can verify that the data added is shown correctly

 

 

How to search for an existing time sheet:

 

1. Click on ¨Expenses/Revenue¨

2. Click on ¨Expenses¨

3. Click on ¨Time sheets¨

4. Type into the search field the information you wish to search for

5. Click on ¨Search¨    

6. Now a list of time sheets that match your search criteria will be shown

7. If you have many matches, you can select a page using the paging buttons to view all results 


Project Progress

From this screen you can introduce to the system all progress made on a project. 

How to add a new project progress:

1. Click on ¨Projects¨

2. Click on ¨Progress project¨

3. Click on ¨Open¨  
4. Select the project using the magnifying glass  and indicate the date of the progress you are introducing
5. Fill in the required data on the screen. If you want more detailed information please see the project progress guide
6. The project progress has been saved and can be searched from the project progress main screen

How to search for a project progress:

1. Click on ¨Projects¨

2. Click on ¨Progress project¨

3. Click on ¨Open¨  
4. Select the project and the date the project progress was introduced to the system. 
5. now you can see the project progress selected.  

Project Certification

On this screen you can add all certification measurements

How to add a new project certification:

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Project certification¨
3. Click on ¨Open project certification¨  
4. Select the project
5. Select the project progress which the certification will be based on
6. It is possible to change the date in which the certification will be saved
7. Fill in the required fields (View an explanation of each field in ¨Project Certification¨)
8. The certification will be saved and can be selected from the main screen

How to search for an existing project certification:

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Project certification¨
3. Click on ¨Open project certification¨
4. Select the project and the date the certification was introduced in the system
5. Now you can view the data related to the selected certification

 

Cost Analysis 

On this screen you can analyse the results of a project for a certain date


 

How to view cost analysis:

 

1. Click on ¨Projects¨
2. Click on ¨Cost analysis¨
3. Click on ¨Open to view the cost analysis"
4. Type into the filter field the data you wish to view
5. Select the project
6. Select the date and information to be shown and click ¨Run¨
7. The cost analysis report will be shown. You can view detailed information for each field in ¨Cost Analysis¨
